1. I have a sickening feeling ...
Part of the strategy of Dems vs. Repubs in Congress, is that they're hoping the more of our troops get killed and maimed over there, the more that Americans will turn against bush and the GOP.

What a horrid thought, that they would be so calculating. I just have totally lost faith in them. They came into Congress on the faith of the people to do something about Iraq, and all they're doing is sucking george off.

Pardon my language. I'm so angry.

6. I am outraged
We work our butts off and donate every cent we can to stop this insanity and the Dems fold. Some of us have family members over there, but I guess Pelosi and Reid don't. They should resign.

17. Pot meet kettle
I'm tired of posters who accuse Democrats who voted for the bill of wanting kids to die.

16. The Countdown Clock Says * Has 605 Days Left In Office......
3 = average number of U.S. soldiers getting killed in this occupation per day
605 = days left under the * pResidency

3 X 605 = 1815 estimate of how many more dead U.S. soldiers until * is gone

3438 current count of the dead U.S. soldiers in this occupation

3438 + 1815 = 5253 estimate of the total dead U.S. soldiers until * is gone

How many people will not be able to sleep tonight given this estimate?
How many more families will have to sacrifice for this corrupt administration?
How will those in Congress that voted to continue funding this occupation live with the thought that they just signed an additional 1815 death notices?

Given * saying that things will probably get worse this summer - this estimate may be low.

Given * and Cheney beating the war drums for an attack on Iran - this estimate may be low.

Are we ready for another war memorial in Washington D.C.? It seems like every generation has one.

My fathers generation was called "The Greatest Generation" = WWII

My generation will probably be called "The Embarrassed Generation" = VietNam (and I mean no disrespect for the men and women that fought in VietNam - I referring to how they were received when they returned from that war - people shunned them and didn't regard them as the heros they were/are; I visit the VietNam war memorial anytime I'm in Washington D.C. as I have many friends listed on that wall).

What will the current generation be called that are fighting *'s lied into war?

I'm rambling now. I'm frustrated. I'm disappointed. I'm angry. And I don't think I'm alone in those feelings. I'm sorry.

12. Bush started the war
How are Reid and Pelosi to blame when they tried to put in the timetable to bring the troops home? Even if the timetable had been approved, the war wouldn't have ended immediately. They don't have executive authority, they can't withdraw the troops.

14. They could have sent the same bill back as Edwards said
They didn't. They became cowards and our kids die for their cowardice. Or just maybe our kids arms or legs blown off? As shown at www.icasualties.org

15. And it would have been vetoed again
That wouldn't have changed one thing, it would have been just a political maneuver. There needs to be a real solution that will actually end the war, not political games.
