6. Ben Affleck means well but I don't find him the most informed. Talking to a good friend the

other day, we started to discuss Maher's selection of guests. He seems to have on well meaning Liberals from the entertainment world and an occassional politician, but they don't for the most part know as much as 90% of those of us at DU know. Then he will have on the WrongWing pundits, who are adept and for the most part, spread the propaganda for a living. It's hard when you can't combat those lies when you don't know all the facts, and Maher doesn't know a lot of the facts either.

I think this is the reason that I find Real Time disappointing.

"Holidays in Hell" and "Parliament of Whores" are great reads but lately I think he has been cowing to his party who have to time for his or Dennis Hopper's kind.
