Will Bush survive till the end of his presidency??
Edited on Fri May-25-07 02:17 PM by Rosemary2205
Look at how bad he's deteriorated physically in just a few years. Is he really falling apart or is this the norm for presidents? I don't remember any other president looking this shitty in such a short period of time. Someone please get this guy to an AA meeting before it's too late.

Damn

16. I always find this quote comforting.......
"When I despair, I remember that all through history the way of truth and love has always won. There have been tyrants and murderers and for a time they seem invincible, but in the end, they always fall - think of it, always." Ghandi

11. All 'jokes' aside...
the OP makes a good point. People have accused me of being Frist-like when I make these diagnoses, but no question there's a marked deterioration. Even Nixon didn't look this bad this fast. Actually, if you do an image timeline, things have been deteriorating rapidly for the last 2 years.

Of course, were Tecumseh looking down, my bet is he'd rather that Bush served out his term.

23. The attempt on Reagan kicked off his Alzheimer's
and that killed him, in office. My dad died of Alzheimers and I know that he, the person he was, died long before his physical death. It think it was the same with Reagan. So it didn't skip him, after all.

27. Then again- maybe it "skipped" Reagan on purpose
for more than anyone, he and his administration are (as history will show) are responsible for the decline and fall (or collapse) of the United States.

21. As far as i'm concerned, the '0' year election curse is still in place.
Reagan (1980) may not have actually died in office, but his Alzheimer's destroyed him just as surely as physical death, before leaving office. Prior to that, Kennedy in '60, Roosevelt in '40, etc., all the way back to Harrison in 1840. Harrison defeated Tecumseh, and Tecumseh supposedly cursed him and the United States - every '0' year president since has died in office.

He's toast.

Most likely his post-presidency will be spent as a disembodied Nazghul.

25. Yes
the job is a pressure cooker, wheher you take vacations or not

Look at a photo of Clinton, even poppy

The only one that did not go down that bad was Reagan, but by the end of his presidency I'll argue his Alzheimers prevented him from really dealing with real life
