because if the candidate is not viable you don't know what people will do in the heat of the moment, jumping to another candidate.

17. It's the stupid media that makes this sooooo important. |
|
Iowa use to be just one of the beginner states---that is all. But the media has exaggerated all of this. Made it the first race of the triple crown. My state means NOTHING to them! Remember the idiot 2004 election? That's when it all started.
Stupid front-loading.
STUPID STUPID media.

9. You know, it's awfully stupid to allow one weird caucus in one |
|
small state to determine whether you stay in or not.
I sure hope he doesn't, and keeps going. I do think his qualifications are superior. I would like to see him overtake Richardson in 4th. That would probably get him *some* press.

13. He's said if he doesn't come in a CLOSE fourth, he's gone. Also, unless |
|
he comes in 4th, he can't participate in the NH debate, so...
Even though Richardson is 4th, he's WAY behind The Three.

I'm not opposed necessarily to the others (ok, not so keen on Clinton, but if she gets the nod, she's my candidate), but man! There you are, in the 2nd tier -- all that experience and smarts... What a waste!
And I STILL don't get why a small state with no real representative sampling of the US has this much power to make or break candidates.
Damn! I want to actually be able to vote in Feb. and have it mean something!

My primary isn't until May and it'll probably be decided by then, so I doubt I'll even pay attention between now and then.

Joe being peoples 2nd choice doesn't mean a damn thing unless their first choice wasn't viable. Nobody is leaving a top tier candidate to help joe when they have the other top two to contend with.
Fuck, did i have blinders on and only saw what i wanted to see. How could I expect americans to see past the msm hype machine.
God bless you all, the only people who understand what I'm feeling right now.
