The end of Hillary's NH speech. Classy. |

And finally, I want to say how much I respect our Democratic candidates. Senators Dodd and Biden, who were in the race earlier, have given great service to our country.
(APPLAUSE)
Governor Richardson, Congressman Kucinich, Senator Edwards and Senator Obama -- they all...
(APPLAUSE)
They all have put themselves on the line day and night on behalf of this country we love so much. This campaign will transform America, because we will take on the challenges. We will seize the opportunities. Every single day I am not going out there on my own. I'm going out there accompanied by millions and millions of people who believe as I do that this country is worth fighting for.
(APPLAUSE)
Thank you, and God bless you.
EDIT to add -- the moment I posted this I thought "she's smart to do that to appeal to the supporters of the other candidates..." SO cynical, gateley!

it was a brilliant move. Think about it. She knew that she needed to acknowledge Obama in some way. By including his name (last even), she was able to relegate him to the pack. Sort of a back-handed compliment.
Still...I appreciated he comment.

Hopefully she really has found her voice and she can be comfortable with being herself. A few weeks ago I watched SICKO and there were some clips of Hillary from the nineties and she was amazing - smart, witty, and charming as hell. She was quick with the comebacks in a senate hearing and she did it with a gracious smile on her face.
Maybe someone in her campaign decided to just let "Hillary be Hillary".

4. I've been impressed by her when I've seen her in the Senate hearings, too -- |

And I do think she's got a great wit.

3. For whatever reason she did it, it was a classy move. |
