Biden spoke for me today when he said he is not ready to endorse either candidate

1. You know, any other time in our country, when we weren't on the brink of

entering yet another war, when our troops are still dying and NOTHING has been done about it, when many of us may be homeless next month, or if we're not, we may not be able to pay for heating, then I'd like that message - kind of fun and uplifting.

It's SO inappropriate now, it's alarming.

We have a long way to go before we'll be able to be cool again.

he leading, a pep rally? You're right on with he's not ready for prime time. Dear God, it's such an American Idol mentality. Have a lovely african-american woman in our building who I just love, she's originally from Jersey also. I asked her how she felt about the two candidates. She said she thought Obama was fine but not "seasoned enough yet." She'd like to die knowing the "first woman" got into office, "the first black will happen, after the woman." I was sort of surprised, but not really. Elizabeth (my friend) says the students are identifying with him but the older folks are looking at the facts.
