1. Well, at least Romney is flexible |
|
If he were to become the nominee (fat chance), I'm sure most of his positions would change again!

that any republican candidate wants to extend a war that can be used to drive fear into Americans. The repubs think that the only way to win is to kill those who disagree with us or will not conform to us. They fail to see how Iraq only serves to recruit followers of those who oppose us. They fail to see the hypocrisy of believing that the attacks on us unified us, but attacks on them won't do the same. It creates a shared sense of oppression for them and only deepens the desire to attack us. The sad thing is that Iraq was virtually terrorist free before we went there.

3. He's pretty much saying what he thinks the base wants to hear |
|
but such talk will not do well in the general when he has to draw on independents and moderates.

7. You're right because he and McCain were arguing because McC said that previously |
|
Romney HAD supported the idea of a timeline to withdraw,
It seems they're in a battle to prove who is the bigger warmonger -- who's more ready to stay and kill all the radical terrorists.
Jesus - we can NOT let one of these people get in the WH.

Think - where have we heard that before?
That was a Biden line! So the way I see Mittens, is that he stole Obama's campaign theme, and is now stealing Biden's lines
BIDEN: Absolutely, positively, unequivocally. I have a second resolution.
Biden: Absolutely, positively, unequivocally. As president, that's what I would push for.
Joe Biden on EducationA: Absolutely, positively, unequivocally. As president, that's what I would ....
MTP transcript for Sept. 9, 2007 - Meet the Press, online at MSNBC ...BIDEN: Absolutely, positively, unequivocally, I believe that. Look, let me tell you, Tim, there is no possibility—no possibility—of a central government ...
It was one of Biden's favorite lines ;)

CAREFULLY erase the letters IMG before and after the photo, and it'll be FLAWLESS!
EDIT -- AND the brackets. But be sure you have access to the photo in case I'm giving you bad info and you have to re-do it. Keeping fingers crossed!

I am in the presence of a GODDESS! I kneel, prostrate, grovel, obey, submit, and surrender to you, oh Mistress of Image. Will you accept this unworthy devotee into the bliss of your cosmic understanding? Ommmmm.

The United States can pass through the eye of a needle easier than Dick Cheney can enter the gates of heaven.

You are so observant! :-)
I swear, if Joe had a dollar for every time the candidates have copied and stolen his lines, he'd be...a frontrunner!

16. I just loved it when Biden would say that, so when I heard Mittens |
|
say it - it just jumped out at me.
The debate was on in the background, I wasn't even paying attention but then I heard that.

That's what they call him in gdp.
edit - I prefer to call him Ken. He looks just like my Ken doll (as in Barbie) and acts like him too.

19. I think we have another example of |
|
a son living in the shadow of a bigger-than-life father and never able to measure up. Maybe that is what motivates some republican men to seek higher office.
