WHY GOP FAILS: They reject, despise, hate WISDOM, INTELECT, SCIENCE |
|
They are lazy...small bubbles, unable to comprehend due to ignorance and arrogance...which feeds their Fantasy..
They even hate the COMMON GOOD, COMMON INTEREST...and COMMON SENSE
I think they hate themselves...

7. Yes, there appears to be an anti-science, anti-intellectual attitude growing in this country.. |
|
It does not bode well for our future.

|
so can behave as they wish and shit all over people. Combine the two and you have true malevolence.

12. Actually, with few exceptions, they have dominated this country... |
|
since Reagan's election. Even Bill Clinton was a classic fiscal conservative. So, your premise is incorrect. Even now, with Democrats in control of the Oval Office, the House, and the Senate they continue to drive the agenda.

13. They do not seem to be failing. |
|
And they do not seem to have failed over the past thirty years or so. They have been and still are getting everything they want. The party that is allegedly on "our" side is the party that has been failing and doing so in epic proportions.

terrified that their world will come crashing down and be replaced by the "evil" of socialism.
Naturally, when one mentions SS and medicare are "socialist programs" that should be cut to "save the nation", there is an uproar from the geezers who are doing most of the complaining and collecting of funding they receive...:D

15. I disagree with you. This country is becoming more and more disengaged |
|
apathetic, and "dumbed down."
I see it in my political science college students every year, even the brightest ones. They are wedded to their ideology and nothing--no facts, evidence-based research--NOTHING changes their minds.
The schools don't teach to enhance critical thinking or analytical skills. They are concerned with teaching to the test and not challenging students to exercise reason and logic.
Again, even the smartest ones--especially the boys--try and downplay their brains for fear of being called "gay" or "queer." Wait a minute, since when did being smart become "queer," "acting White," or "gay?" And for godssake what does all of that mean, anyway?!??!?
It's depressing for me as a professor/educator.

a specie.
We have not yet but experienced but a small incipient start in reversing the current trend.. the pendelum shall have our turn...logic, reason, clarity must prevail else we surrender to destiny/nefarious exploitation/poor leadership....

19. When you follow doctrine or authority there's no need for wisdom or |
|
reason. The bible, Rush, constitution (selected portions), military code, Reaganism, and Sarah provide all the answers.
