Has it ever been determined who brought and assembled the gallows?

Because something struck me as weird reading that. Trump keeps saying that Pence is going to go along with the plan (even though he's not), but it's not until January 5th that Trump tells Pence that he's going to have to publicly criticize him. It's not until Pence actually does "betray" Trump that the crowd is told of Pence's betrayal.

And yet, somebody in that crowd was already prepared with lumber, tools and rope. Or even a partially pre-assembled gallows stand. Who was that and who told him to be ready?

Dear gawd I am so SICK and TIRED of politicians who call it murder

to remove tissue of these sizes from a woman's body and then gleefully enact policies that cause great harm to actual babies and children.

He's a firehose of ignorance, bullshit and malice.

I don't understand why Independence Day is a big travel holiday.

Granted, hubby and I are anti-social introverts who don’t even travel for Thanksgiving or Christmas, but I do understand why people are so committed to traveling then. “I’ll Be Home for Christmas”, “Over the river and through the woods to Grandmother’s house we go” yadda, yadda, yadda. Even the background music of those seasons guilt trips you into planning a trip.

But if you get a paid holiday for Independence Day, it’s only one day that often falls midweek. Surely fireworks shows at comparably sized towns and cities are pretty much the same nationwide. Why so much travel in the most miserably hot part of the summer?

sitting out in his residence and absentmindedly toss in a tie and pair of shoes at the end of a long day?

I've long wondered if the explanation for the Israelites crossing the Yam Suph was a lock system.

Moses, who grew up in Pharaoh's court, knew how it worked or enlisted people who knew how it worked. When they fled, he had a team that seized the controls of the lock. The iconic image of Moses stretching out his hands could have been signals to whoever was operating the controls. Drain out one level so the people can cross and then open the gates once your people are out, releasing the water onto the pursuing army.
