No surprise here: Alex Jones Says Highland Park Shooter was Programmed by the FBI

https://hillreporter.com/watch-alex-jones-says-highland-park-shooter-was-programmed-by-the-fbi-134813

Alex Jones has regularly been hurt by claims that most mass shootings are false-flag operations. The radio host was sued by the parents of the victims of Sandy Hook and lost. Jones has also been de-platformed by a number of social media sites.

The InfoWars host, though, has not seemed to have learned his lesson. During a Tuesday segment, Jones claimed that the Highland Park shooter was programmed by the FBI.

Jones told his fans, “Well, it turns out our psycho poster boy of mind control … from the 4th of July shooting in Highland Park, Illinois, was more prolific than I even knew. More videos of him on Facebook and other places have surfaced reaching out to his FBI handlers. Here’s one of those clips.”

The host then played a clip of the alleged shooter saying, ” I’ll see you all later. Goodbye, Mr. FBI agent, OK?”

Anything for a buck. Dude has no conscience.

Florida Governor signs law requiring students, faculty be asked their political beliefs

https://thehill.com/changing-america/enrichment/education/559881-florida-gov-signs-law-requiring-students-and-faculty-be/

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) on Tuesday signed legislation mandating public colleges and universities survey students and faculty about their beliefs in an effort to promote intellectual diversity on campuses.

“We obviously want our universities to be focused on critical thinking, academic rigor,” DeSantis said during a news conference Tuesday, according to the Naples Daily News.

“We do not want them as basically hotbeds for stale ideology,” he said.

“It used to be thought that a university campus was a place where you’d be exposed to a lot of different ideas,” DeSantis said. “Unfortunately, now the norm is, these are more intellectually repressive environments,” he added.

THIS IS AN OUTRAGE. This is reminiscent of Nazi Germany and Stalinist Russia. It is the proverbial camel's nose in the tent, the notching up of the temperature for the goldfish.

IT IS NOT THE STATE OF FLORIDA'S BUSINESS what students' and faculties' political beliefs are. This is an uwarranted intrusion about First Amendment rights.

Upon the election of either Crist or Fried, they need to immediately get this law off the books.

Orange County vote-by-mail ballot tracking page

https://ocfelections.gov/track-my-vote-mail-ballot

I do not know how much detail is provided once you actually cast your vote by mailing it. Right now, my page just says I have requested the ballots for both the Florida primary and general elections, which is correct.

Maybe other Florida county supervisor of elections have the same thing, on their web page ? To find your supervisor of elections web page, just type your county name and "supervisor of elections" into Google/Bing/DuckDuckGo/your search engine of choice and I'm sure you can find it easily.

Let's vote out the horrible DeSantis and his horrible crew !! Let's vote out ALL Republicans state-wide !

last mention of Kinzinger: "Congrats Arizona! You made the Wyoming debate look sane in comparison"

Congrats Arizona! You made the Wyoming debate look sane in comparison to yours. What in the actual…

Kinzinger: "This debate really was filled with a bunch of arm-pit farters (besides) Liz Cheney"

This debate really was filled with a bunch of arm-pit farters and then there was Liz Cheney, the only serious person up there.

Ok, Kinzinger might be a conservative Republican and a past MAGA supporter, but that was a funny line about the Wyoming Republican primary.

Representative Mary Miller of Illinois (TrumParty): " Hitler was right on one thing "

Question about Senator Cornyn, his recent tweet about Brown v. Board of Education and electability..

I am not trolling here. Those of you who know me, know I've been here a very long time. A sincere question:

https://twitter.com/JohnCornyn/status/1540689961040482306

Can Cornyn survive after that tweet ? Or is his re-election so far away that people might forget ? Or is he retiring ? Thanks in advance.

Steve

eta: His attempt to clarify... why didn't he just spell it all out in the very first tweet ? #ownthelibs I guess

Adam Kinzinger, on the J6 Committee: Why so quiet so far ?

Maybe this has been asked already. I did a search, found nothing.

Why has Kinzinger been so quiet so far ? If he has spoken, I have missed it.

I've been fine with Liz Cheney using her abilities to savage Trump and his minions. Maybe Kinzinger will speak later ? We've heard from Zoe Lofgren and Pete Aguilar on the Democratic side (and maybe others I have missed).

Unless someone has other facts, I am guessing Kinzinger will speak later ?

Member of the JOINT CHIEFS researched the 25th Amendment for removing a president from office after red-faced Trump's 'twenty-minute tirade' about Afghanistan, former Defense chief Mark Esper writes in new book

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10787309/Member-JOINT-CHIEFS-researched-25th-Amendment-Trump.html

One of the nation's top military officers was so concerned about former President Donald Trump's red-faced 'tirade' about Afghanistan that he began researching the 25th Amendment on removing a president from office, former Pentagon boss Mark Esper writes in his new book.

The development came after Trump made the 'stupid' decision to make false and 'baseless' claims about the military in front of the top assembled military chiefs during a White House meeting.

It was a performance Esper termed 'reprehensible,' and prompted side conversations among the military brass.

Esper wasn't the only person present who was gobsmacked.

eta: I damn sure am not buying his f*******g book. I'm quite confident he could have done something productive WHILE he was in office, greedy a******le.
