In other news, GOPers keep suggesting Trump should become Speaker of the House. So they want him close by to keep the MAGA base but they don't want him to run for President is what I'm divining. So they are giving him power somewhere they have no respect for because they don't think he can win another Presidential election like he did in 2016.

Obama dragged his feet on stopping ISIS when it first broke out in the Middle East. Saudis and

everyone else in the Middle East were terrified. And terrified the US was not involving itself in the Middle East, where ISIS was, fast enough. Saudis were vocal on this. Then Obama came up with a plan to help. A few months later the price of oil went down.

Biden needs to negotiate with the Saudis again.

“House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) says he called Rep. Paul Gosar (R-AZ) after learning about an anime video the Arizona Republican posted last week that depicted violence against two prominent Democrats,” Politico reports.

Said McCarthy: “He took the video down and made a statement that he doesn’t support violence to anybody. I called him when I heard about the video. And he made a statement.”

In Tuesday’s election, Republicans served notice that the clock is ticking on Democrats’ slim majorities in Congress. On Friday, 13 House Republicans delivered the decisive votes to rescue a key part of President Biden’s agenda — an agenda endangered by those in his own party.

2021 Election: Complete coverage and analysis

Ensue the bloodletting.

Biden’s $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill passed late Friday night and is headed for his signature after months of intense wrangling over the details — particularly whether it would be tied to a larger spending plan that progressives insisted upon passing alongside it. But in the end it wasn’t really those progressives who provided the key votes, but rather the 13 Republicans. The final vote count was 228 to 206, meaning if no Republicans had voted for the bill, it wouldn’t have passed.

And some Republicans are predictably furious — with undersold questions about House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy’s (R-Calif.) future leadership of the party potentially in the offing.

“I can’t believe Republicans just gave the Democrats their socialism bill,” Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) said.

Dems can run against Republicans about what peons/automatons republican candidates are now and that they are not real representatives in Washington if they have to vote always with the leader or face absolute primarying if they vote their conscience or for the different needs of their state or district.

Republicans wish. All of their policies involve more inequality and more death. They want

to get rid of congressional scoring and they need their opposition to be vested in lies too in order to agree to it. Even campaign promises get quickly scored these days.
