Hugh_Lebowski's JournalFellow lovers of the rock and roll, I give you ... The Struts ... doubt you will be disappointed
These blokes kick ass & the singer is a force of nature, for real he's very near the quality of the great front men of the 70's like Freddie, Jagger, Tyler, Daltrey ... can't say that about many singers since that era, but the guy is a straight-up ROCK STAR.
Check it!
And they're even better live, as this recent concert footage will demonstrate. About 17 mins into this the singer takes to the piano to play One Night Only, and it's pretty damn killer. They're requiring vax cards or negative tests to get into shows.
Grateful Dead - Lyceum '72 Yule Log (one for that old guy who's always in the way)
You'd think doggo's would understand the concept of a nap after a long night of wrapping presents
But turns out ... maybe not ... tummy rubs please!
Does anyone else who's significantly cut the carbs from their diet feel like their hair is growing
just a little bit slower since they did so?
Talking all your hairs, not just your head.

Please put answers/guesses in your response, not the subject line when you reply
So, who is the singer of this band ... the son of?
Hint: it's not Jeff Buckley, though he totally looks more like Jeff to me than the famous parent.
If you don't figure it from that song, this one might make it more obvious
Had some extra Costco sliced grilled chicken breast needed eatin' so ... tortilla soup!
Course, there's no actual tortilla in it (trying to watch the carbs ATM), but there is a bit of frozen corn ... plus lime juice, avocado, cilantro, black beans, peas, and Mexican grey squash ... so overall I think this counts as tortilla soup. Also, it's cloudy cause there's some pepper jack melted in!
So, I just got the Vet records for Jean Luc from my cousin, and I'm a bit distraught
Not because there's terrible stuff in it (though UTI's appear to be a problem in the past on a few occasions), but because my mom told me she thought he was 8 or maybe 9 ... turns out ... on 12/5 ... he's TWELVE!
Bit of a gut punch really, 12 is a lot different than 8 for a cat!
Fortunately Burmese are known to be able to live a long time, but still ... cats die at 12-15 old pretty regularly, so it's possible I've gotten all attached and he might not be around that much longer.
I'm kinda bummed ...
Berkeley/Oakland/SF Bay Sunset Photo from Grizzly Peaks tonight ... freaking amazing!
Of course, *I* wasn't there, but my brother was, and he loves to send me pictures from home that make me
