Hugh_Lebowski's JournalOnly a few more days to get Monster Taco's at Jack in the Box!!!
On the menu now at 2 Tacos for $3, thru Halloween.
They've been off the regular menu since 2019. I've missed them. Regular tacos are just not the same. Way too high a tortilla to meat/cheese ratio. Monster's are way better.
Also man would I give a lot to have a Chicken Supreme with same formula from the 1980's. Those things were the freaking bomb.

morgan wade - take me away (live in studio - 2021) promise you're gonna like this one!
Sounds like about 10 other songs I can think of (first I thought of was 'What's Going On' by 4 Non Blondes), but ... it's still damn good.
Album was produced by Sadler Vaden, guitarist of Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit.
Sadler, along with 400 Unit members Jimbo Hart and Derry deBorja also play on the record.
the highwomen - the chain (live) amanda shires, brandi carlyle, jason isbell
and a bunch of a other talented people nailing the Fleetwood Mac classic.
Enjoy, friends!
dylan, clapton, petty, young, mcguinn, harrison - my back pages (live 1992) awesomeness!
GE Smith and I think Steve Cropper there too. Don't get much better than this!
the waterboys - sweet thing (studio-1988) is it heresy to say it's better than Van's original?
Well, I say it's at least debatable, it's that good.
hothouse flowers - i can see clearly now (studio-1990) one of my all-time favorite covers
Fact, I'd probably put it 3rd overall after Manfred Mann - Blinded by the Light, and The Waterboys - Sweet Thing.
nothing but thieves - impossible (live at abbey road studios - 2020) trust me, it's incredible :)
I know I posted this before about a year ago, but ... it's so friggin good, time to resurrect for new folks/people who missed it ...
Don't let your kids watch Hocus-Pocus 2!!!11!
https://www.foxcarolina.com/2022/10/05/you-unleash-hell-your-kids-central-texas-mom-warns-parents-about-hocus-pocus-2/Do not watch this film, she warned, Everybody thinks its fake and innocent, but they could be casting any type of spell that they want to, anything could be coming through that TV screen into your home.
Discovered "Somebody Feed Phil" about a month back, we love that show ...
Phil Rosenthal (creator of Everybody Loves Raymond) travels all over the world to taste local cuisines, a lot of it is high-end gourmet stuff, but by no means all. Phil is willing to eat friggin ANYthing lol.
A lot of good human interest bits woven in, and he's just a really funny, affable guy. The New Orleans episode was a favorite of ours.
He zoom's with his elderly parents in NY at the end of every episode (well, not so much in the last couple seasons) and they're cute and amusing folks.
Beautiful camera work, amazing locales, lots of nice folks, and a ton of food porn.
Although it gets a little 'samey' after awhile, it's perfect for watching a couple episodes sipping your coffee on a weekend morning, spreading it out over time as we've done.
Netflix, BTW
Fifth Season released in May 2022, and a 6th is on the way.
Oh, and small PSA, there's a good amount of drinking on the show. Maybe not the best viewing choice if you're presently struggling to abstain
Lastly, there's a lot of internet posts bashing Phil himself as host, calling him phony and the like. Keep in mind he's a very obviously liberal Jewish New Yorker, and the show has a decidedly liberal bent as a whole. I love the guy, myself, and don't find him at all phony. Some people out there I think just can't believe someone is THAT nice. But if he IS a big phony, his acting skills are great. He even fools his own parents.
