While in Turin we visited the Cathedral where the Shroud is/was stored. As luck would have it we were there one or two days after the fire in the Cathedral Turin's cathedral had a similar fire 22 years earlier, almost to the day, April 11, 1997.
Here is the results of the restoration, April 16, 2019. Only the altar needed to be restored. They reopened a quarry to get the same black marble which was used in the original construction.

Lazy day dinner

One reason to have rotisserie chicken in the fridge. Got a good bike ride in today before the weather changed. So salad and spaghetti chicken it is. Normally I doctor the sauce by sauteing an onion and adding more herbs to crushed tomatoes. Then add half a chopped up chicken. Simmer while the water boils and the pasta cooks. I save the bones for stock.

You could probably sub in cubed firm tofu, although I might brown it first.

Today the market in Milan from 2019.
This place is huge. I think everything is there.
I didn't even get to the household items and clothing sections.

Here is the result

From the free croissants I got yesterday.
French breakfast tacos.
Eggs with onion, bell pepper, crème Fraiche in a split croissant lined with cheese.

The first one broke then the second was dropped on top. Looks sort of like a nebula picture in the stainless bowl.
