...if a headline leads with "white people," all of a sudden it's as if brains are shut off. Brains that ordinarily would very clearly understand that the headline is not referring to *all* of the subject in question.

We've seen this happen repeatedly on this site. And it only goes to show how much of a white supremacist culture we're all swimming in.

And when people actually have the nerve to refer to articles about what I would call the pandemic of racism in the US as being "racist," I don't know whether to laugh or cry. I expect it from Trumpies, but...

Anyway, Robin DiAngelo put it so well when she said racism is "an act or a dynamic that is backed by the weight of history, legal authority and institutional control."

I doubt the authors of the articles featured in the following threads will face a backlash:
