In my circle of friends there are Christians, Jews, Pagans, atheists, agnostics...we're all celebrating with more joy than we've had in the last few years, socially distanced of course.

The undercurrent is, yes, we're celebrating our respective winter holidays or just enjoying pretty lights and presents - but under all that, we're really celebrating the fact that we can finally throw away that moldy sagging rotting orange jack o' lantern that's been on our national porch drawing flies and getting uglier every day since November 2016.
