Any attempt to designate them as RW or LW is problematic.
One thing we know, LW extremists are far less prone to violence than RW. When violence increases, that suggests those extremists have migrated right. Which is very common. The far left and right routinely recruit from each other. Look to Trump's and Sanders's populist followings in 2015-2018, before Sanders himself backed out.
But these are a different type. They really can go either way, wherever the strength is, but they're not cultists. They're destroyers.
