Well, Chuckie, here's the thing - the First Amendment protection of free speech applies ONLY to the government and its ability to pass laws that limit speech, establish a state religion, etc., etc. Individual citizens can do and say pretty much whatever they damn well want, though they are NOT protected from the consequences of those actions and decisions. They may be as vile and hateful as the communities they reside in will abide, but they generally find that they run afoul of things like access providers who will NOT abide their bile.

The thing that infected the Oval Office is no different. His right to say whatever dumb shit he wants is NOT violated here, but his access to other people's infrastructure and systems to make it easy for him IS NOT A RIGHT.

I thought the GQP was for free-dumb and business-directed polices - guess that is another 'right' reserved for old white men, huh?
