9. One simple thing these dumb shits don't understand about the First Amendment...

...is that it does not obligate any person or business to publish what someone has to say.

If I write a letter to the editors of the local paper, they might or might not print it. They won't be violating my First Amendment rights if they choose not to print it.

If I call in to Sean Hannity's radio show tomorrow, his call screener and his producer probably won't like what I have to say, and will probably choose not to air it. That's fine. The First Amendment does not obligate them to broadcast my spiel.

All of this would be especially true if I were urging others to commit a crime. In that case, the media has an obligation not to help me get that message out.

Pretty simple, right? But good luck explaining it to the ignorant, arrogant, and entitled people that make up the modern GOP.
