21. Your links also don't factor into my calling the PD when needed

I have had to dispatch PD for self and others many times both professionally and unfortunately as a victim of crime. I dial 911 and call PD as my correct and ethical stance plus it has everything to do with living. Definitely can't keep that inaction bottled up. I'm all for you choosing what to do for yourself when experiencing crime. Most folks enjoy minimal effects of crime on their day-to-day, hence the shift to "law and order" by many mayoral campaigns referenced in the OP.
