This is being reposted from Mira's original thread due to some weird thing happening with photo sizes.

VOTING is starting over with this thread. If you voted in the previous thread (which will be removed) please vote again in this thread.

Here are the 10 finalists for the Contest. The thread will run for 72 hours, and then I will announce the winners and runners up.

The theme was envisioned and given by HappyCynic who won the January Contest and the winner’s reward in this thread will get to determine the theme for our next contest.
Our final choices are diverse, creative, and beautiful and I am grateful to all participants.

Please read this once more.

The thought behind the theme is to portray something which is distinctly a part of a larger object or item. Can be intact, or not, but it cannot stand alone because the connection to the larger part is definitely implied and necessary to be completed in your imagination.
