Saw this mentioned elsewhere and thought yup, that about sums it up.

Zelensky has surprised many people throughout the world. In a good way because he's standing up (despite terrible odds) for a democratic Ukraine and, by extension, democratic principles everywhere. I've read that his popularity within Ukraine had dwindled from his initial electoral victory. Until these last few weeks, that is, which has propelled the man into living legend status.

No wonder Putin wants Zelensky's head. Only problem? Then the man becomes a martyr to the cause.

And Putin? He loses either way.
