Sorry, feeling especially sarcastic tonight, but seriously……
Isn’t everything just slightly better? Still cynical AF, but I don’t think there’s been a single instance where I feel like I’ve missed out on what’s going on, because I wasn’t watching cable news.

That said, full disclosure, I have had BBC News on regularly since the beginning of the Ukraine war, but mostly because I think they have some of the best breaking news coverage. They did a better job reporting live on Jan 6th than NPR ever did. Bit ironic considering NPR’s headquartered in DC and BBC is (obviously) London.

But even that is prolly two hours of original content per 24 hours, then repeated clips so as to fill up the day.
