Just . . . what is that date? People getting slapped with a nice palm print shaped reminder right before the midterms? And if it gets extended again, people will say it's a political ploy for midterms. Either way.

I was just discussing the moratorium with a friend in his 40s. It's alleviating $800 a month in payments. He's been using it to catch up on things and actually put money into retirement. That's another thing these "HELP DADDY" and "bootstraps" assholes don't understand. When you're doling out these hefty payments well into your 30s and 40s, you're not putting nearly enough away for retirement. Mix in we have no idea what social security will look like by then. Do they care? Hell no. Got theirs.

It just blows my mind. $800/month for loans to get a pharmacy degree. I know my partner, also a pharmacist, has similar payments every month. He's continued on because he just wants them gone.

You'd think these bootstrapped daddy helpers would like pharmacists. Someone's gotta hand them all those medications in old age.
