the Confederate flag should long ago, as in no later than 1866, declared a symbol of treason and been outlawed.

Like the Nazi Swastika in Germany.

I have zero faith that reason will prevail. I'm weary of the daily, hourly, minute by minute predictions of Now He's Done For! As I keep on posting, remember Fitzmas. So many here were totally confident that Bush would come down, that there would be consequences for misdeeds. Completely misplaced confidence, as it turned out. I expect the same thing, or something very close to it, will be the ultimate outcome here.
