Some will get discouraged and stay home for the primary. Some will conclude that a different person has a better chance and vote for someone else in the primary. If he gets convictions before 11/24, his goose is cooked, especially if he gets a jail sentence.

I don't think he will be the GOP nominee. But if he is, that pretty much tars and feathers the GOP, and all that left is to run them out of town.
