In reply to the discussion: SoCal DUers' Hilary Check In [View all]Scottie Mom
(5,829 posts)57. Hi, I'm just north of you.
Rain kind of stopped about 20 mins ago and it starting back up for the last few minutes.
So far, no wind. That is what worries me the most -- I really do not want to look up and see the sky instead of a ceiling!
I would take good care of a Jag like that. Hope she stays high and dry in the garage.
From what I read on the weather station, we are suppose to start getting the worst of it in at around noon today and continuing to 2:00 p.m. Have not really looked at what is up for tomorrow.
I did grocery shopping yesterday and stocked up. Have candles and bottled water. Phone is charged and so are my hearing aids. Not wearing them until I have to.
Listening to MSNBC on tune-in and they are giving reports on Hilary fairly often.

EARTHQUAKE. Only 5.1, out of Ojai, but we keep getting aftershocks. The thrills never end.
