65 million people voted for him in 2020. He actually got more votes the second time than he did in 2016, even after everything he did, which should terrify any sane person.

Those Trump voters aren’t going to just disappear into the ether if he loses or goes to prison or dies. They will move on to someone who is just as crazy. But the “next Trump” will be smarter and slicker, and much harder to beat. Think of Nixon and Reagan. Nixon was nuts and, like Trump, a criminal. He went down in flames. Then the Republicans ran Reagan…who was just as evil but wrapped in a much nicer package. Fascism cloaked in a professional actor who looked and sounded like your lovely old grandpa. And we know how that turned out.
