It was a fair trial, everything by the book. There were no Perry Masonesque "gotchas!" from the prosecution, only a lame attempt at one by TFG's lawyer Blanche against Michael Cohen, whose only reaction was blandly admitting it was within the realm of probability.
Most of us honestly expected a mixed verdict and hoped only that the consequences would be severe enough to keep him out of office. That the jury found him guilty of all charges came as an astonishing surprise. Of course there is gloating.
