Wake Up Call [View all]

I had to record tonight’s debate due to being on call and needing to go see a patient. I was able to watch after I got back home. Here is my takeaway.

Donald Trump: All I saw out of him tonight was lie after lie after lie. He attempted to get away with not answering simple questions like will you accept the results of the election or give any direct answer for his actions or inaction on Jan 6th. He lied about his “accomplishments” during his occupancy of the White House. How is it that we have a convicted felon being able to run for President of the United States being able to debate THE President of the United States? I didn’t think I would see that in my lifetime.

President Biden: When he first walked out on stage, immediately I thought something was off. This was not the same man who just a few short months ago gave a powerful State of The Union Address. I could not help but wonder if he was sick, and when I heard him speak that seemed to confirm it, his voice was hoarse. His campaign has since said he had a cold. He was able to provide substance on answers however at times seemed to stumble over his words. He has had a stutter for years; however this seemed different. He did get in a few jabs on him, however even those were not as forceful as the Joe Biden I know. I know there is much angst over the performance last night, however I am not willing to give up on Joe Biden. This man has had a wealth of hard knocks all his life and he may get knocked down but he ALWAYS comes back swinging. This debate should not decide this election. President Obama did not have a great debate performance against Mitt Romney the 1st debate and he easily won re-election. That sole debate did not decide the election.

While I am disappointed about last nights debate, I refuse to throw in the towel and neither should you! Especially NOT over one debate. We need to keep that Convicted Felon out of the White House! While searching the net after the debate, I found this video that ignited the same fire and energy I had prior to watching it. I wanted to share it.
