51. The last words that came out of my racist...

...mother in law was "He should be grateful", because she fell ill and as my wife walked her to her room, through the living room and she heard the tv mention Colin Kaepernick. She was 49er's fan until Colin of course. When he courageously took a knee, she couldn't keep her mouth shut, until I "had the discussion" with her. So she didn't say it again until her frigging death bed.

(She lived with us her last four years and is now deceased.)

I will not speak well of that woman because she was a stone cold racist and she seethed once I told her she could not say those things without my verbal pushback. She should expect me to respond to her racists comments. In addition, she should consider what she is saying which is:

"African Americans are to shut up and be grateful as police murder them, and America continues it's systemic racist policies against African Americans. Yet, they are to love America and be grateful."

I've heard it from other people too over the years. It's ridiculous and pathetic, but we all know why and how the attacks work.

However, this time we are or should be ready and I argue there's only one way to counter their racist attacks, which is; Attack them back. Call them out. Highlight the logical conclusions of their statements. Call them assholes too.

(I am not a knee jerk reactionary. I understand the tactics of being quiet, of temporary retreat and sometimes, taking the high road so to speak, but we're WAY past that with the religiously insane and the Republicons. They will not stand down in any way. The only way to defeat bullies is to beat the shite out of them. It's much more than that of course, but I'm telling everyone - ridiculing the Republicons' racist and often ridiculous messaging is the necessary tactic now.)

The white boys and girls will cry and threaten, they will whine and call us demonic - the goal is to force them into errors and to become so incensed they show who they really are on camera. Kock them off their center(s). Then hit them until they fall.

Show the casual voters what this is really about, and how Democrats fight too, and let them decide who is being honest. It's obvious, unless you're a religiously insane sociopath.
