The non-MAGA Republican vote is what will trump Trump

Much to the annoyance of Team Trump, his near-assassination cannot be blamed on a leftist zealot, but on a "traditional" Republican who saw Trump as an anti-Christ level threat. And I doubt that he's the only one who feels that way.

Obama didn't win simply because he got the black vote. He won because he worked at CONVINCING enough black voters that he could ALSO bring in enough WHITE voters. We have to spend the next three months getting non-MAGA Republicans to come out of the closet and convince them that the way to "assassinate" MAGA is with votes against -- not bullets in favor of -- DuhDonald.

Here's an article and a DU thread about a poll which suggests that 3 out of 10 "Trump voters" approve of his lawbreaking...which means that 7 out of 10 do not.
