(6,688 posts)Kamala Harris has an impressive work resume, as a District Attorney, State Attorney General, US Senator, and Vice-President. That's quite a bit. She's served the state of California, and the nation, and has excellent credentials; very well qualified to be President.
JD Vance has about a year and a half of time as a US Senator, and has not distinguished himself in any way. I don't think he can point to a single major piece of legislation that he has authored, and got passed. On a scale of 1-10, his leadership skills rate about a 1.
At this point, Vance is simply picking up a paycheck each month. He's quite a few years away from having the "creds" that allow him to rate someone else's career performance.
He's probably the least qualified candidate for VP in the nation's history.
I don't expect him to bring any votes to Trump's table, and may actually cost him votes.
