we older sane folx vote in huge numbers, that could overwhelm the people we’re always trying to placate.

I think this is what younger people are longing for. Don’t do politics as usual.

We have plenty of qualified candidates who would be wonderful. I understand the concerns but the political calculus to be cautious in order not to offend or scare away are disappearing imo. Again, the number of new voters who will show up would be astonishing.

IMO. 😉
