12. Ventura has been on record defending the "Hulkster" to be fair.

He didn't agree with him but understood why he did what he did. Hogan was pulling in a massive amount of money and a Union would stifle that. And more or less inferred that if it was him pulling in that money, he might have done the same thing. It was just the nature of the business at the time. Doesn't make it right, but, different time, different values, etc. Plus, this was the first time they were drawing that kind of money with the contracts they had. Under the old territory system, you could be drawing one day and barely scraping by the next.

Ventura's politics are all over the place. On one hand they line up with progressive values and then the other, they line up with conservative values and then, bat shit crazy. It's nice to have his endorsement, however, just realize he could go a different direction for something else.
