In reply to the discussion: CNN is really milking the stupid gaff from Biden. [View all]crimycarny
(1,894 posts)62. I've changed my mind on that and honestly don't think so
Last night when I first heard of Biden's comments I was worried because I knew what the media would do--constant 7x24 coverage of Biden's comments and nothing else.
However, I'm not seeing this gain much traction on other social media outlets, despite CNN's desperate attempts to make it so. I think everyone is outrage fatigued.
If it were Biden running for President the media could flame this into a bigger deal but Kamala is the candidate, not Biden. Also, Biden hasn't been seen on the campaign trail with Kamala all that much, so the ties between her and Biden aren't as closely tied as, say, Kamala and Obama.
I think this will fizzle, I hope I'm right.

Yup, yet Vance said school shootings are a 'fact of life' with little media push back.

This does give kamala the opportunity to play "good cop" by reiterating she's for all Americans

It really is. The more people attempt to answer for it, the more people play to the GOP narrative.

Apparently, cnn now thinks Biden is no longer an old fuddy-duddy with senior moments.

Well, we all know the CNN CEO (whose fiduciary responsibility is ONLY to generate shareholder PROFITS)

It isn't a stupid gaffe until Democrats consent to agree with the ridiculously preloaded media.

The wisest political advice I've heard in some time came from Jared Kushner. No, really.
