19 years old. Her first election.

16 years old. Has cerebral palsy.

I feel like I failed them.

I voted straight Democratic in Illinois.

Both sets of my Grandparents were Mexican immigrants. My parents have passed, but would have voted for Kamala. My Mom's siblings are /were MAGA.

I've been battling with them since Barack Obama. My Father's family were mostly Democratic voters.

My MAGA family will gloat if trump wins. I suppose I'll deserve the taunts. I've been pretty brutal in my criticism of their support for trump.

I am not surprised about this. I was/am hopeful. But I am not surprised. This is America.
