5. I too have slipped into panic mode. I think it was hearing Maddow

talk about Kash Patel after three or four hours of reading the posts of Federal Workers who are watching their agencies fall victim to (their words) a "hostile takeover."

My pick for worst thing of the day is whatever the fuck he is doing to our government. Call it freezing it, or dismemberment, dismantling. He seems to have frozen the movement of money into agencies and out of agencies, even to projects specified by Congress. So we are way, way out into the rings of Saturn at this point.
