(10,384 posts)what you mean. I generally don't hang around employers that want me to spend much time listing what I do every step of the way. I've been a manager, I've been a nonmanager, and as a manager if I didn't know what my people were doing I would be embarrassed. Thankfully, I am about to retire. The workplace since I started working in 1980, at several different careers, has become truly onerous. I was planning to make it to 70, but I'm going at 67.5 for reasons of sanity. If I don't get out of this environment, the steps I have to take to put myself in it day after day are going to caise me problems.
I thank God I am in a position and age to retire and get out of employment. It's horrible. When I read what is being done to the Federal workforce I want to vomit.
