(37,056 posts)Clue: It perfectly matches the floor color.
Other clues: It's where his jacket hem would be and most of us don't clutch our hands to our thighs.
As for the rest, meh.
I've gone to work after accidents. Spill something, need to finish what I'm doing, pivot and wake up seconds later on the floor; next day, black eyes. Spill something, screw finishing what I'm doing in making my huge batch of spaghetti sauce for the freeze ... I need to clean a burn from spilled bubbling sauce and next day go to work with improvised bandages made of paper towels and first aid tape because I don't have a 3"x8" bandage or two. Trip going up stairs, slam foot into stairs, limp next day because my toe is likely broken, but they heal and, well, whatever. (Note that once had an x-ray for tendonitis and the MD asked about the healed-over broken wrist ... "I had a broken wrist?" Then remembered a time as a teenager when I fell, thought maybe my wrist was sprained, but it hurt for weeks.
Maybe there's a huge bruise because he backhanded a WH serf staff member, Melania, or maybe he didn't use his safe word when his hired "specialist" was a bit rough because he didn't want to seem weak to posterity that would be watching the video.
Dunno. But the "band-aid" bit ... Nah.
What? Put the band-aid on over the makeup?
On edit (why bury that in something a click away?): Note that the demarcation line is also where you'd expect shadow to fall. Inside the "make up" area you get what you wouldn't expect--lots of creases and wrinkles. I'm in my mid-60s and every morning look at my face in the mirror and at times my hands and think, "Whose are these? Wait? What happened?!" Outside the "make up" area the skin's pink and fairly wrinkle/crease free. If bright light's overhead--and I mean bright, so that the picture has to be adjusted to handle the different in illumination--you might get that kind of effect. Don't do photograph editing, so dunno, but that doesn't seem unreasonable to me.
