Hegseth came out on top in a big way in this exchange. Ollie North anyone? Rosen needs to go back to the tapes and up her game. Maybe get a focus group going. I thought she came off like she was trying to trap Hegseth in a word trap. The "yes or no" gambit needs to be used sparingly. Otherwise, you look like you're just trying to trap your debate opponent into saying something. Using "yes or no" clumsily makes arguments that should win lose and even screws up the future use of "yes or no" by others on your side.
