. . . Social Security benefits to be taxed is not high. If there is somewhere around $16,000 in other income, the Social Security benefits start to get taxed. If the other other income is only a little over the threshold, then only a small percentage of the Social Security benefits gets added to the net income which is taxed pursuant to Form 1940.

I use AOL..rarely get emails and don't believe I've ever received one from SS. I thought they only mailed notices

The bill's average benefit to seniors is an increase in after tax income of just $670.
