5. Big pharma got the Hippocratic oath altered in the 60's

There used to be a phrase that the first round of treatment would be counsling on diet and nutrition. Big medicine decided our diet and nutrition were so good and they should just ignore that part of the oath. I rarely watch broadcast tv and am shocked on how bad the potential adverse effects sound on most all of the newfangled moneymaking pharmaceuticals.
