I was a web developer for for a company that got in big trouble, but were allowed to stay in business. They sold dietary supplements and made all sorts of outrageous claims about them. That they cured diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure etc. etc. They came up with crazy drug sounding names for them like Cholestexin or Diamexol that made them sound like they must work. FDA shut them down and they re-emerged with less claims and more homeopathic medicines.

It was all total BS, they had zero science, no chemists or doctors worked there. It was just the owner literally watching YouTube videos and doing his own research. The labeling was just whatever they felt like putting on it as they were buying and reselling powders as is. Place was doing several $million in business a month at its peak.

So I got a first hand look at the BS and how it's all done. I ended up quitting as after I learned too much, I just couldn't morally continue. It was all a total scam. And it got worse when they went homeopathic where they were literally taking tap water and selling it for $40 an ounce. Owner was a big Conservative, just zero morals or sense of right and wrong. Made $millions selling people lies and hope.
