I am not sure how Hamas thought this would go any other way. Must have been smoking some good shit.

I assume their fantasy was that Hezbollah & Iran would jump in, and then the neighboring countries like in '48, '56, '67 & '73, but I think the neighbors learned to mind their own business and want no part of the IDF.

People seemed to forget the US suffered around 2,000 military casualties on Dec 7th and then killed 2.6 to 3.1 million Japanese until they unconditionally surrendered.
