And it isn't like many of them aren't already incredibly wealthy.

I am increasingly of the (cliche) opinion that we need to make serving in Congress a lot less lucrative so we have fewer entrenched corrupt players.

Give them minimum wage + 20%, whatever. And a stipend to cover travel costs to their districts.
