240. Turns out the thread starter has used the "GG" term herself.

Look upthread, she's used the initials and they're in her journal on page 6.

She can't delete the post, because it's one of those META ones.

Plain as day, she called Greenwald "GG." In a headline, too.

Probably accounts for the reason she hasn't come back to this thread. If she had any integrity, she'd delete after apologizing for making such a hateful and spurious accusation.

Homophobia is no joke, it's a serious charge, it often results in dangerous and hurtful behaviors. To accuse people of it with no evidence--and to claim that using an abbreviation that the OP herself used is "proof" of it-- is beyond the pale.

I'm a bit pissed off, actually. I think that, even though we've been mocking and making light of this stupid accusation throughout this thread, that underneath it all, this is a divisive, cruel and nasty thing to say to people and I really don't like it one bit. There ARE real homophobes out there who mean good people harm--the people calling Glenn Greenwald "GG" aren't the problem.
