39. Legitimate gripes vs. hate.

I can see why some people felt we needed a different candidate for president. Clinton has problems with her support of the Iraq war, favoring the death penalty, promotion of the TPP, etc. But we often get Democratic candidates who are not perfect, and Clinton is far better than some of the candidates we nominate for various congressional seats and governorships. Instead of harping on Clinton's inadequacies, we need to improve the progressive record of our party in general, so that candidates don't feel the need to run to the right to appeal to undecided voters. It's OK to blame Clinton for some of what pulled our party too far right, but not in the particular way that implies we should throw the election to Donald Trump to make the point.
