Had this been any other Democratic Senator, the "reasoning" he gave wouldn't have been enough. Remember when Booker called for an investigation into Kushner and he was accused by many around here of being bought by Kushner? Don't get me started on the group of Democratic Senators that voted for one amendment regarding drug prices, and not the other. There were graphics detailing how they were bought and paid for.
