Jesus said, "You have heard it was said, 'You shall not commit adultery,' But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart." Jesus had at least three to four women disciples -- Mary (called Magdalene), Joanna, wife of Herod's household manager, Susanna -- traveling with him and the 12 'chosen' men. Women were with Jesus when he died, when his male disciples were not; women were the first to see his empty tomb; women were the first he showed himself to after his resurrection.
